A Weldoflange is a forged component that combines the features of a welding neck flange with a weldolet or nipolet, similar in function to a nipoflange. It is manufactured as a single solid piece rather than being assembled from separate parts. Weldoflanges are primarily used for branch connections. The run pipe side is connected by welding, while the branch side provides a flanged connection. The flange face can be supplied as flat face, raised face, or ring type joint (RTJ) depending on application requirements. These components are suitable for high temperature and pressure service conditions.
