The term “duplex” refers to the dual-phase microstructure consisting of both ferritic and austenitic phases, which contributes to balanced properties under demanding service conditions.
These pipes are supplied with relevant certifications including EN 10204 3.1 / ISO 10474 3.1, DIN standards, NACE MR-0175 / ISO 15156, NACE MR-01-03, and ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code Section II, along with other applicable national and international requirements.
Material verification through test certification is essential to confirm compliance with specified standards. ASTM A790 UNS S31803 duplex pipes are used in applications such as chemical processing plants, structural piping systems, and natural gas transmission, where both strength and corrosion resistance are required.
Double protection from corrosion
