ASTM A312 904L Stainless Steel Seamless Pipe is excellent resistance to oxidation, but you it can’t be used like other highly alloyed grades and which suffers from structural wavering. The pipe can’t be used above 400degree Celsius. Its using capacity is not too much. Now talk about its Heat treatment that is annealing or solution treatment. So, while treating the solution of this pipe under heat 1090 to 1175 degree Celsius, it cools soon. This grade cannot be toughened even it is given thermal treatment.

Welding-
All standard processes can successfully weld this pipe. This grade needs extra care as it solidifies completely austenitic. Also, it is vulnerable to hot cracking, especially in constrained weldments. Also, it doesn’t require pre-heat treatment and in some cases post- welded heat treatment does not need.
Fabrication-
the pipe is a low sulfur and high purity grade and because of such won't machine well. With this, the grade does machine using standard advanced techniques. Bending small radius is carried out and in some cases, this performs very cold. Also, later solution treatment is not required, though it must be considered if the environment accepts fabrication process where critical stress corrosion cracking situations are expected.

Packaging-
ASTM A312 904L Stainless Steel Seamless Pipe is packed into plastic bag solely and pieces sleeved with water-resistant material and bundled with the rope of nylon. Then clear company’s label is stick on the outer side of the package to identify easily the product and quantity. Also, on its label national or international grades are given that you can see easily.
