Supplier of ASTM A333 seamless and welded LTCS pipes in Grades 1, 3, 4, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10 & 11 for cryogenic and sub-zero service applications.
Low-Temperature ASTM A333 Carbon Steel Pipes
ASTM A333 specification covers seamless and welded carbon steel pipes designed specifically for low-temperature service. These pipes are manufactured to maintain strength and impact resistance under sub-zero conditions, making them suitable for cryogenic systems, pressure vessels, heat exchangers, and process piping exposed to low ambient temperatures.
ASTM A333 pipes are primarily used in applications where low-temperature performance is critical. They are commonly installed in chemical plants, LNG facilities, refrigeration systems, and other process industries operating under sub-zero conditions. These pipes are manufactured in multiple grades, each defined by specific chemical composition and mechanical properties such as tensile strength, yield strength, and impact resistance. ASTM A333 is available in Grades 1, 3, 4, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, and 11 to suit different service requirements.
ASTM A333 pipes are available in nominal pipe sizes (NPS) ranging from 1/2" to 36". Depending on the grade, these pipes are impact tested at specified sub-zero temperatures to ensure toughness and structural integrity. Typical service conditions may extend to as low as –45°C to –195°C, depending on the grade and application. The pipes are manufactured in seamless or welded form, with welding performed without the addition of filler metal as required by the specification.
